2020 > Goddesses

This embroidery deals with the physical and sociological changes of women from goddesses to modern world. I aimed to look at ourselves objectively by trying to give this change in the most neutral language as a woman. The transformation of Artemis's arrow-shooting arm into a selfie-taking arm, the famous pose of Venus turning into daring poses that we see on social media platforms, the powerful wings of the Egyptian goddess Isis replacing it with flying skirts pushes the audience to question.
